About Us

ND Labs is a compact but highly flexible performance and prop capture stage built for modern production workflows. Our 40-camera system captures up to 3 performers and 20 props within a 20' × 30' volume at 240Hz, with sub-millimeter accuracy down to 0.3 mm.
Originally developed as an in-house resource for game development, ND Labs also operates as a work-for-hire motion capture stage supporting indie, AA, and research-driven projects, including applications in life sciences. We capture full-body performance using 65-marker suits, high-resolution hand tracking through capacitive stretch-sensor gloves, markerless facial capture with custom head-mounted cameras running Unreal Engine Live Link Face, and on-actor 32-bit reference audio.
ND Labs also supports live monitoring and real-time visualization workflows for Unreal Engine productions, with options for direct-to-project recording or entertainment-standard animation exports. Custom active and passive tracked prop fabrication and printing services are available upon request.
Our Story
Built to Make Performance Capture More Accessible
In 2020, we assembled a small optical capture stage inside a Seattle apartment to support a handful of independent projects. Over time, we expanded the volume, refined our workflows, and developed new tools to improve the quality and flexibility of our system.
As the studio grew, we recognized a gap in the industry. While Seattle is home to some of the largest companies and best facilities in the country, access to high-end performance capture remains limited for many independent creators and smaller teams.
In 2025, we founded Nameless Deep Labs to help change that — creating a flexible, production-ready space where developers, filmmakers, artists, and researchers can access professional motion capture tools and expertise without the overhead of building their own stage.
Since then, we've supported projects across games, film, music, robotics, and life sciences, helping teams capture the data they need to bring their ideas to life.
